Legacy Humane Society is holding its first Hair of the Dog: Beer Wine and Food Festival fundraiser Saturday.

The event is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Seis Lagos subdivision clubhouse, 220 Seis Lagos Trail in Lucas.

Legacy is a rescue organization for dogs that is located in McKinney.

Country music entertainer Lane Thomas will perform live music throughout the event and Franconia Brewery and Premier Wines, both of Plano, will be serving beverages. Foods are to be provided by Kelly’s at Allen.

Admission is $25 for adults, or $30 at the door, and $5 for children.

Adult admission includes appetizers, 12 beer/wine tastings and access to the swimming pool. Children are served non-alcoholic beverages and food.

The Seis Lagos venue includes two pool tables, shuffleboard, three swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball courts and a playground.
