Wylie

Planning and Zoning Meeting

The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 21 in the Council Chambers located at the Wylie Municipal Complex.

 City Council Meeting

The Wylie City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 at the Municipal Complex’s Council Chambers located at 300 Country Club Rd, Building 100.

Back to School fair

The Wylie ISD Back-To-School fair will be held Aug. 8 at McMillan Junior High, 1050 Park Blvd. from 8 to 10 a.m. The fair is for families who need assistance with school supplies for the upcoming school year. Documentation of one of the following is required: free/reduced lunch, Medicaid, WIC, Lone Star, social security, disability, unemployment and active military. A school badge or report card is also required. School clothes and shoes are available for secondary students while supplies last.

 

Sachse

City Council Meeting

The Sachse City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 20 in the Council Chambers located at 3815-B Sachse Road.

Planning and Zoning Meeting

The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, July 27 in the Municipal Complex’s Council Chambers.

 

Murphy

Collin County Farmers Market

The Collin County Farmers Market will be set up in the City Hall Parking Lot from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18. For a full list of vendors available, visit collincountyfarmersmarket.org.

 Murphy Chamber of Commerce

The Murphy Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, July 21 at the Murphy Activity Center. The featured speaker will be Terry Sullivan, an award-winning marketing leader and certified social media marketing evangelist. Her topic will be “Social Selling with LinkedIn, an Overview.” The luncheon is $15 per person with a registration by noon the Friday prior to the luncheon and $20 per person after that time.

 City Council Meeting

The Murphy City Council will meet from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21 in the City Council Chambers located at 206 N. Murphy Rd.

Planning and Zoning Meeting

The Planning and Zoning Board will meet from 6-8 p.m. Monday July 27 at City Hall in the City Council Chambers.

Murphy Animal Shelter

The Murphy Animal Shelter is in need of more volunteers. They would like to have enough volunteers so they can have help with answering phones and helping customers that walk in.
