Wylie City Council discussed a proposed 250-unit active adult development, reviewed potential public safety projects for the city’s upcoming bond election and interviewed applicants for vacancies on the Board of Review during its Tuesday, May 26, meeting.
Proceedings began with recognitions for several Shining the Wylie Way students and Leadership Wylie Class XXII.
During public comment, two speakers addressed council regarding noise concerns associated with local pickleball courts.
Following approval of the consent agenda, council interviewed community members seeking appointment to vacancies on the Board of Review. Those selected will serve terms from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028.
