Wylie City Council recognized the 10th anniversary of its Teen Court program, honored a local Eagle Scout and reviewed the police department’s 2025 racial profiling report during its Tuesday, Feb. 24 regular meeting.
The meeting began with presentations and recognitions, including a proclamation declaring Feb. 24, 2026, as Wylie Teen Court Day in recognition of the program’s decade of service.
Juvenile Case Manager Melissa Davis told council the program provides first-time juvenile offenders an opportunity to keep offenses off their record through peer-led accountability and restorative justice.
