Wylie City Council unanimously approved its annual financial audit, moved forward with litigation tied to the McMillen Road Project, and discussed the future of its license plate reader program during Tuesday’s meeting.
Council members opened the meeting with recognitions for Eagle Scout Jacob Crabtrey and Black History Month.
Council then recessed to convene the regular Wylie Parks and Recreation Facilities Development Corp. (4B) meeting, during which board members unanimously approved minutes from the Aug. 26, 2025, meeting and amended bylaws for the Park and Recreation Facilities Corp.
After reconvening, council considered its consent agenda and heard public comment on Item D, which authorizes the city and its attorneys to initiate litigation against DCCM Infrastructure Inc. related to the McMillen Road Project.
