Donaven Davis’ 11 points led the Wylie Pirates to victory on the road at The Colony.
The Pirates outscored the Cougars 34-15 over the second and third quarters to win 52-37. Davis led the way from the starting point guard position for the Pirates.
While he led the team, Wylie’s depth played a huge factor in the victory. 10 different Pirates found points in the game, while the team’s leading scorer Jordan Hudgins was limited to just four points.
Wylie now sits at 2-2 on the season and will play Plano East at home next Tuesday.
