Today, we remember the men and women who gave their lives in service of the United States of America.
On Memorial Day throughout this great nation, we lower our county’s flag to half-staff to honor the many who made the ultimate sacrifice, but only until noon. We raise the flag to full-staff at noon to show we will not allow their sacrifice to be for naught. That we will all strive to honor their memory and leave a better nation to our children. Their legacy continues as a source of pride, not only for their families and loved ones, but for our entire country.
As we gather with friends and family, let us give gratitude to the soldiers, and their families, who died defending our freedom.
From my family to yours, have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day!
