WHS senior pursues vocal dreams

A young but experienced Wylie vocalist closes out his singing career in the area next month as a charter member of Children’s Chorus of Collin County and embarks on a path to pursue his passion in college and beyond.

Barrett Phillips, 18, is the lone remaining charter member of the chorus, having joined as a third grade student, and for 10 years occupied a spot as a featured performer for the group. He makes his final chorus appearance May 9 in the spring concert at Eiseman Center in Richardson.
