Among five workshops conducted last week, Wylie City Council directed city staff to proceed with a project to replace all water meters with updated remotely-read meters and heard a proposal to increase water and sewer rates.
The workshops were held after the council meeting on Tuesday, June 9.
Other topics were discussion of the Code of Ethics, city charter amendments and budget projections.
