Connecting leaders through COPE

Not everyone is willing to take an inside look at poverty in America for a few minutes, much less the afternoon.

It takes dedicated individuals determined to learn how to better serve the community where they work or reside to do that.

On Thursday, Nov. 14, more than 20 Wylie ISD employees, three city employees and numerous individuals associated with local nonprofits, attended the Cost of Poverty experience, or COPE, for almost three hours.
