Some Hartman Elementary students had a more confident and comfortable stride when they returned to school last week thanks to Rack Room Shoes. The store delivered 43 pairs of shoes to students.

The elementary school teamed up with the store for the third year in a row for the Shoes that Fit program, which began in Claremont Calif. in 1992.

Hartman Elementary School Counselor Holly Hensley measures the feet of student meeting the ‘in need’ criteria.

“I am extremely grateful to Rack Room Shoes and the local community for supporting Rack Room Shoes,” Hensley said. “Our students light up with joy and are very appreciative of the new shoes they receive.”
