Grease monkeys and car enthusiasts walked rows of vehicles at the 5th Annual Wylie High FFA Car and Craft Show. The event was held Saturday June 20 in the high school parking lot.
Approximately 50 vehicles, motorcycles, vintage cars, trucks and more, were showcased, both interior and under the hood.
Vendors were available selling their goods to attendees. Vendors included Renee Jewelry, David Merril Western Art, Angel’s Grace Church of McKinney, My Boos Boutique, Premier Jewelry, ID Life and Young Living essential oils.
For those needing a little sustenance while walking the event hot dogs, snow cones, chili cheese dogs, nachos and popcorn were available for purchase.
Money raised will help the Wylie FFA pay for competitions, purchase barn equipment such as shovels, wheelbarrows, etc. and will help in the raising of money for scholarships. A $2,500 scholarship is awarded yearly to one individual, a portion of those funds will come from the money accrued through the car show.
