Downtown Wylie Christmas Shopping Spree
Customers can register to win $1500 in prizes from participating merchants downtown. There will be 3 prizes – a 32” HD Flat Screen TV ($500 value) and two prizes of gift certificates ($500 value each). Registration entry forms will be included in November’s water bill and a Wylie News ad (Nov. 25). Extra entry form copies will be available at participating merchants. Customers can drop off entry forms and leave in the collection box. Janice Martz will collect any entry forms, Monday, Dec.21. Tamera Hamilton will contact merchants for donations.
Shopping Spree contest excludes participating stores, owners and employees.

North Pointe Church of Christ free adult English classesNorth Pointe Church of Christ is offering free adult English classes. Daytime, evening and weekend times are available. Teachers are volunteers from North Pointe who have been trained as English tutors. Classes will be one student per teacher and include practice listening, speaking, reading and writing English using the Bible and other materials. Students must be able to read English.
