A shooting incident in which a man was heavily peppered by a shotgun blast at Woodbridge Golf Club is under investigation by Wylie Police.

The incident occurred Tuesday night, July 14, at a public restroom on the course. The victim is identified as Scott Norman, 44.

Police Det. Nuria Arroyo said that Noll reported that he was fishing with his son and a family friend at a pond on the golf course and walked by himself to a nearby public restroom near the 15th hole.

As he walked out of the restroom, the man was struck by a shotgun blast, the detective said.

Noll and his companions then walked home to a nearby mobile home park and called police to report the incident, at about 9:45 p.m.

Police responded to the residence and the victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of non life-threatening wounds.
